Privacy Policy
Last updated October 9, 2026
This policy describes the information handled when you visit homegearinsight.com or contact Home Gear Insight. For questions or privacy requests, email hello@homegearinsight.com.
Information from visiting the site
Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes connection and request information such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps to deliver and protect the website. Cloudflare describes its processing in its privacy policy.
We do not run advertising pixels, visitor profiling tools, or optional analytics on this website. Our article search works in your browser. Search terms may appear in the page address and standard request information, so do not enter sensitive personal information.
Messages you send
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you include. Our contact form prepares a draft in your email application; it does not send a message through a website database. You decide whether to send the draft.
The public contact address uses Cloudflare Email Routing to forward messages to the publication's email inbox. The routing service and inbox provider process those messages to deliver and store correspondence. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, identity documents, or other sensitive information.
How information is used and retained
We use correspondence to answer questions, investigate corrections, handle privacy requests, and manage legitimate business communications. We retain it while needed for those purposes and any applicable recordkeeping obligations, then delete it when no longer needed. Infrastructure logs are managed under the service provider's retention practices. We do not sell readers' personal information.
Service providers and disclosures
Hosting, security, email-routing, and inbox providers receive information needed to supply their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect legitimate rights or site security. These providers may process information outside your country.
External shopping and source links
When you follow an external link, the destination operates under its own privacy and cookie policies. If a link is identified as an affiliate link, a merchant or affiliate network may process referral information to attribute a purchase. Our affiliate disclosure explains how those relationships are identified.
Your choices
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have provided. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to confirm that a request concerns your data. Browser settings let you control cookies and local storage; see our Cookie Notice.
Children
This publication is intended for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information that should be removed.
Policy changes
We will update this page when our information practices change. The date above identifies the most recent version. New optional tracking or mailing-list features would require an updated explanation before they are introduced.
